I've been putting points in Tech and Combat so far: trying to max out Tactical Cloak and Sniper Rifle trees before committing to anything else. Well, also Combat Fitness, as it lets you carry more than 2 weapons at once, which seems to be useful, given the limited ammo system. Again, I've only fought on Habitat 7 so far, so I cannot really comment on how well this build is going to perform. Just landed on Eos, let's see!
After 15 hours played, I only landed on Eos now.
Given my completionist nature, I doubt I will leave the planet before I've completely exhausted everything to do there. That means, many, many hours of exploration.
I don't know what people are complaining about, but I haven't seen anything that would make this game inferior to previous ME games. Sure, some UI elements could be more convenient, sure, the save system is a bit wonky, sure,
the static camera in some conversations isn't great - but every game had these issues, and Bioware tends to improve their games significantly with patches.
Also, unlike DAI, which I also liked a lot, but which felt like an open world game in DA setting, rather than the next DA games - this one feels like a 100% Mass Effect game. Although, I've hardly completed even 10% of the whole game, so I probably shouldn't make the judgment so early.
