14 isn't a lot.

No, it doesn't depend on that at all. Religion is very clearly different from something biological that you're born with and can't change that people target. One is a choice and a belief system, one is something that's caused by biology and not a choice or a belief system.
That's a pretty big difference.
Infractions mean fuck all.
You criticised people for talking about Muslim communities, yet we have an issue with some Muslim communities and it is not a tiny proportion either. To say that you find it boring, does not mean that the issues should not be discussed.
Do a little thought experiment for me.
Imagine that the guy that did this attack was a white Christian. Just a regular person, born in Kent, lived in the country their entire life. If that had been the case, what would you be thinking now?
Would it be something like "I wonder what made that person carry out an attack like that. What could drive someone to decide at 52 to attack a group of innocent people like that?". You might want to know a bit more about the background of the person involved, to understand what took him on the journey from his birth in Kent to the place he found himself yesterday. To find out what caused it, so we can think about trying to stop it happening again.
But no. He was brown. He had a foreign name. Suddenly the fact he is British doesn't matter. All that matters is that we can point a finger at a whole group of people and say "you are the the problem, you're what's wrong". You stop looking for a reason, something that can be investigated. Something that, just maybe, can be fixed. Because who needs that when you have a scapegoat, right?
And the worst thing is, that attitude is precisely the one that will make the situation worse. Make more Muslim people feel excluded. Less human. Anything that increases the hatred on either side will make things worse. I honestly don't understand the logic behind that attitude. Don't you want to fix this? Or is it easier to just hate?
When challenging a Kzin, a simple scream of rage is sufficient. You scream and you leap.

I bet the cocksucker Anjem Choudary will have a nice wank over this in prison.
Oh, I know them. I tried to imply I always have to laugh though when someone brings up reining in corporate interests as a reason for Brexit. The EU has way more regulation to keep corps in check than Britain or the US. (Not to mention more clout than the UK to enforce them.) There's no denying the mere existence of the EU serves corporate interests, but mostly through the unified market.
No need to imagine the reason as we all know the reason and it starts with I and ends with M.
If he had shouted FUCK CHELSEA AND FUCK THE QUEEN when jumping the police officer we might be playing these mind games with you. But until such attack happens, there is no need.
Better yet, show me some terrorist attack conducted by a muslim that was found not to be religiously motivated at all? Sure there might be some, but I haven't come across any yet.
When people commit terrorism in the name of Islam, you do not really need to go looking far.
And what hate are you talking about? I do not hate Muslims, I have genuine reasons to not like Turks, yet I hold them up as the gold standard of Islamic integration in the UK.
A third of the Muslim community has failed to integrate into the UK, that is entirely their fault, not mine, not May, not Blair, not Ant & Dec. Stop trying to pass the buck.
