I can also understand why you don't want two left footed players, but when there's little choice you have to make choices: Do I pick the right-footed, inexperienced defender or do I pick someone who is defensively stronger?

This is fucking terrible. Holland was the nation that made me watch football and I love them but how can they be so poor? Depay didn't even make an appereance and he has been on fire lately and definitely the kind of player you need if you want things to happen.

Didn't watch the whole game but watching the statistics you can just imagine how poor they were, 71% possession but still managed to get less shots on target than Bulgaria, un-fucking-believable.

There were injuries to the defence so De Liegt starting weren't that much as a surprise for me as I could have been but still, a 17 year old in a match of this calibre is too much to ask.

I think they should seek another coach, someone who could get the most out of this team because there is talent and enough skill to qualify but right now everything seem to depend on Robben.
