So I stumbled across an interesting video on YouTube about an add-on that's releasing April 6th.
It aims to redo the old world questing experience by adding new writing, voice acting and yells to quests to make WoW's questing content finally stand shoulder-to-shoulder with higher quality MMO's.

The first module will be for Elwynn forest.

This is a pretty big undertaking, huh? Personally I'm quite excited to see some life brought back into WoW's horrendous questing experience, I'll be making a human to try it out.

I doubt Blizzard will ever get off their arse and do it. Besides, storyline is the same, just the way it's presented will be different.

This reminds me of that masterpiece called "less generic npcs". An incredible mod in morrowind, now lost in the ripples of the Web (my heart cries), that used to change EVERY dialogue for EVERY npc.
The impact of it in my morrowind experience was... something else.
Blizzard isn't Bethesda though. I didn't watch the video, will they allow something like this to happen? I mean this is a game changing addon.
Nevertheless I wish these guys best of luck with what they're trying to do.

Damn, I love morrowind, would have been amazing to try that add-on.

But yeah, that's the goal. It changes dialogue for every NPC using blizzard's new talking head box to relay the information via voiced NPC's. Other add-ons like this have been made available in the past, such as storyline. Only major difference with this is the voice acting.
