To me, it just seems like it's another one of those insults that got legs because the people who use it most often can't call people 'Faggots' anymore to demean their masculinity, and because 'Pussy' has lost a lot of it's edge over the years. It is actually an insult as it is saying that you are not man enough to please your woman and she has to seek pleasure from other men, usually in front of you.
