Yeah, because it's DMB playing the voice sound. It overrules the sound settings in WoW.

They did, but that doesn't stop their profitability. Both ore still sell for 600-1100g a stack. Frostweed and Flytraps still sell very high. Catalysts still sell well. Earth still sells well. Fur sells between 600-1800g a stack depending on when you sell it. Bloods sell at about 30-50g each. A variety of cloak and weapon enchants all still sell decently as well.

Also, pets from the menagerie daily sell just as well as they did when WoD was current. Medallions, ogre caches, and oil barrels from missions all still sell.

On a good day, medallions 1000 or so, caches maybe 4-500 and barrels are lucky to scrape 1-200

Your realm has a bad economy, then. At least, compared to mine. I sold a medallion for 8k this morning, a set of two caches for 2.8k each, and a barrel a few days ago for about 600g.

Just checked my priestess from sales over the last few 4-5 or so hours: (note: raw gold, taxed from AH sales)
Medallion 5225g
Hex Bag 1829g each (x4)
Fur 694g each (x3)
True Iron Ore 1719g each (x3)
Blackrock Ore 1049g each (x3)
Elixir of Giant Growth stack 807g

That is actually a bad haul for me in four or so hours of posting on the AH on a single character. (I run about nine characters on various sales on the AH)
