lol i wish, its a 1700 with asrock killer SLI/AC and a evga gtx 1060 6gb.

I cannot for the life of me get memory to boot past 2133.

I will say this thing is dead silent tho, played a match of overwatch on ultra GPU maxxed out at 62c with 600 rpm fan speeds. CPU maxxed at 40c lol, havent tried overclocking yet gonna wait for some better guides on how to do it with P states so i keep all the power saving features enabled.

Most surprising part of this build tho is how snappy the SSHD is, people are honestly wasting money on SSD's unless they regularly use them for moving huge files or something, day to day and game load times you cant tell a different between SSD and seagates new firecuda.

why do so many people keep their cases on the table? I'm actually thinking of drilling some holes in the floor and keeping my rig in the basement after I set up NAS in a few months

There's nothing to cover up. I bought the ubers because I wanted the ubers. Who gives a shit if I use them as a paper weight or an amp? It's my money. Why are you worried about it?

I never have a dust issue in my pc's. I see some of these builds and you can see dust all over. I do run all mine with positive air flow though.

Finally ordered the SeaSonic 750W Prime PSU. These were recently upped to a 12 year warranty from 10 years! :O Also, $25 rebate will bring the final price down to around $170. Oof!

This way I'll be able to swap the SeaSonic X660 Gold PSU into my now 24/7 Folding@Home rig, the old i5-2500k+GTX 760, instead of the shitty, mildly worrisome Corsair CX430 watt that only has one PCI-E connector. x)

And within the next month or two I plan to buy the highest end 12+2 phase GTX 1080 Ti for my main rig, so then the 970 will go in the old system for dedicated folding and that will be that! :O

I don't know if it's an offbrand. I was assembling my pc on a Dutch website and this brand showed up quite a lot there. I wasn't bound to a specific brand and these happen to be low MS, high Hz LED displays in a decent pricerange. The 2 sidescreens are just 60hz ones tho.

And yeah I like my desk clean. Still annoyed by the cables on the desk tho, need to wrap them someday

Iiyama used to be one of the best selling monitor brands 10-15 years ago in Eu at least. Back when the first tft's where coming out at homes and most ppl still rocking crt's. As far as i can remember they had good quality products but somehow got "lost" over the years for no reason known to me.

The difference is that they don't overload their monitors to "ZOMG! BLING BLING!" style of shit.

They offer good colours/calibration and performance out of the box with a mostly industrial look.
But without all the stuff other brands offer like LEDs or colour schemes etc.

Availability in the U.S. is not something they seem interested in though.

I remember getting a new illyama 19" crt delivered at work. Inside the box, the monitor was sitting on a pallet.
