I think @Iamanerd got the Samsung, not sure, he doesn't post that often anymore, would love to hear his thoughts.

Also, I want a monitor that's good for gaming with higher refresh times but aaalllllsssooo decent colors because photo-editing.

Oooo, you getting an ASUS 1080 Ti, @Xuvial?

It's currently $1600 NZD ($1120 USD) here. I've been saving up since basically 2013 for a build overhaul, but at the same time I don't like the prospect of getting ripped off this badly.
Also haven't decided which CPU to go with. Just when 7700K is looking like the best for gaming, more news comes out about 1700 gaining performance with memory and BIOS updates. But motherboard choices seem to be extremely limited AMD.

So, I kind of want to upgrade my computer case, but not sure what to. =/

Too many cases nowadays seem to be foregoing space for many HDDs (I have 3, could see myself getting a couple more) and focusing on... water-cooling support. No bueno. Ideas?

Well because NAS is becoming popular and you don't need much more than a 512gb-1tb SSD + maybe a 2-3TB local drive (if you're a FRAPS/Shadowplay junkie).

Mostly because I just do. :P lol

Have just added up over time and I guess I just don't really want to setup a NAS. =/

I suppose I could just do a couple 8-10TB HDDs and RAID1 them for having a proper backup, for once.

Maybe 0+1 if I were feeling extra cool and edgy, though I feel like that's not necessary, NVMe PCI-E is awesome.

Some of you know how damned sensitive (and powerful) my speaker setup is... so I finally decided to try and turn the speaker's input gains down, and thus also had to do the same to the subwoofer, as in Civ 6, when talking to another nation's leader, with maxed out settings@3440x1440, even the 1080 Ti goes wild, apparently. For some odd reason.

This caused a lot of electrical noise coming through the speakers, similar to when I enable Folding@Home at the end of the day, or during 3DMark/Unigine Heaven+Valley...

Turn on Brain Dance by Animals as Leaders to get the bass where I want it to be and when the bass part of the song kicked in? I'm sitting down there tweaking the sub under my desk and CRASH my old 560 Ti Twin Frozr II that's sitting on top of my desk stood up comes falling down, knocking an olddddd neat mug I bought at Spencer's Gifts when I was a teen, that holds a bunch of copper (pre-1982) pennies and breaks it in the process.

I guess I learned my lesson about displaying my old graphics cards the way TTL does. 10" subwoofers are no joke. lol Wasn't even turned up that high though...

Mostly got rid of the electrical noise, though. The speakers had been turned up to 50% and now have the inputs pointed directly to the left, so that should be around 25%... maybe a little lower. Sounds much better.

I think the Internet climate in general is growing increasingly cold and hateful. I love the feeling of helping people, but I don't have any motivation to post there anymore.
And reading through the type of outright hate-speech in the recent gen OT Sweden related thread going not only wild but keeps triggering each other up, I think I will permanently take my leave from this site at all. To the cares of no one.

In other news, I got my second diagnose today finally. So I have got that going for me.

Anyways yesterday I accidentally potatoed my phone(moto x 2nd gen) and cracked the screen. Now I am thinking about upgrading, I am considering either the Nexus 6P or the Moto Z play, I am leaning towards the 6p, thoughts?
