Lots of poor people have to share beds with children I'm sure there are others that do also. Also single bed rooms are typically cheaper than two bed rooms and unless you don't have to worry about money I think it makes sense to save money on the room when you are going to an amusement park.

Children, especially teenage children, are becoming sexually active. It's very basic human development. Children should not be sleeping with adults by that point, regardless. This is why there are even laws dictating that if you have children, they should be accommodated for with their own space, including their own bed, by a certain age, or they can be taken from you by Social Services.
