I miss Mind Sear, specially for lower level dungeon/raid farming. I keep having to switch to holy for trash.

And Mind Sear would be very useful for tagging while farming sentinax.

I liked the slow moving halo animation a lot and getting off a good one felt really nice since you had to predict where a clump of mobs would be in 2 seconds. Frustrating outside of guild raids maybe since you can't trust pug tanks.

I miss patch 5.2 dot snapshotting with the Unerring Vison of Lei Shen crit trinket. There weren't many people in raid that could nuke as hard as I could when that trinket proc'd on a pull. I remember beating people in duels in about 3 seconds, and then watching them die as a shadow apparition hits them after the duel ended. I recorded a video of my priest during 5.2 getting every buff possible on the Isle of Thunder and wrecking one of the rares out there with a UVLS trinket proc on the pull. Good times.

As mentioned by a lot of people, I really really really miss Cascade. And MF Insanity. And Shadow Orbs. And instant MB. I miss everything about WoD spriest from dot-weaving to crit SW: P machine gun to CoP Insanity. Ahh.... rip spriest

I think the reason I absolutely despise current spriest is because it feels like you're fighting a lost battle. If you want to dot up multiple targets (which any long-term spriest will want to do automatically) you're gonna drop VF. If you drop VF, you're gonna lose all of your dmg.
