I really miss the five second rule.
I really miss the five second rule.
Armor Pen.
Played a 100% ARP Blood DK DPS in ICC. Was some of the most fun I ever had in WoW. Having the Numbers in your Tooltip be the Numbers that came up on the screen as a Melee Physical damage character was awesome.
The favorite ones appear to be those which created the greatest imbalance as the expansion progressed.
How about removing versatility and mastery aswell? Just have haste or crit. Gear is quite honestly a pain in this game. It's more a complication and a headache with all the stats and how they keep changing in value. There is no fun in never knowing exactly what is good for you and requiring simulations and addons to give you an idea. It's another way in wich the game games the player and not the other way around.
I played a healer back when Spirit was a thing. I thought it was kinda fun toying around with just how much you need to get through a fight.
Similar reaction here.
One which I really don't lament the loss of, but loved at the time, that isn't on this list: weapon skill. I remember it being a huge deal to get +15 sword skill on my level 60 Combat Rogue to get him up to 315 skill and avoid penalties for attacking raid bosses.
"100%" armor penetration warrior with Shadowmourne, fun times.
I miss playing an Arms Warrior with loads of Penetration, wrecking other plate wears with it.
I am both the Lady of Dusk, Vheliana Nightwing & Dark Priestess of Lust, Loreleî Legace!

<3 ~ I am also the ever-enticing leader of <The Coven of Dusk Desires> on Moon Guard!
I liked collecting fire res gear back in the day. Oddly satisfying, even if self-gimping. Good money-spinner too. Never had to bother as a nature res soaker since ranged.
Now, get off my lawn.
It may seem silly, but I really miss D rating, expertise, and hit. I know a lot of people hated it, but it felt like I had to make somewhat of an effort after getting some new gear. I know its pointless having to tweak your gear after getting an upgrade, but I really missed the balancing act of keeping those stats where they need to be. Since they removed them its been kinda like... oh mastery. Oh crit. mmm haste... and then you just keep going. Idk, I miss reforging and all that crap, this new ilvl titanforging is bullshit.
awwww everyone misses multistrike?
as an elemental shaman, LOL good, it's my fucking mastery, i'll have my mastery back along with my fucking spec that went missing in WoD.
If I were to pick, it'd be multistrike. I thought it was an interesting stat. When I found out the devs were removing MS yet keeping Vers I scratched my head a bit. I guess conceptually removing MS makes Vers a bit better but it still feels like a mostly useless stat where MS at least had situational advantages.
Multistrike. Was actually a fun stat yet they kept the worse secondaries like Speed, Avoidance and Leech.
spirit, hate the fact I'm reliant on trinkets for any semblance of mana management/regen control
