Net Neutrality - the straw that will finally get the majority of the ignorant Trump voters out into the light.

When they suddenly can't watch their favourite TV show or download their pornz ... then they'll whinge.

By then ... it will be too late.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

They'll just blame liberals. "The evil coastal city elite stole our interwebbs!"

But is it news that this will happen? Wasnt that a given long before the election and what the voters must have wanted? Not sure why they wanted it but they must have wanted it

If it hasn't happened yet, I doubt it ever will. The cult of Trump is strong.

Trump is running out of insanely short-sighted and poorly thought out decisions to make. He'll run out far before the end of his term at this rate. I swear it's something new every week.

Well, to be fair, the government has already been serving corporations for a few decades now. There's only so much Trump can do to push the corporatist agenda further.

This is not a 1 sided argument. There are things about net neutrality that are good and many that are bad. Be objective.

Mind giving examples of how Net Neutrality is bad?

He's just Reagan 2.0. Everybody acts like he's Satan and Hitler combined, but he's really just Reagan minus 100% of Reagan's charm and likability and 100% more reality TV star bullshit and internet troll rage. Anybody that wasn't rich suffered under Reagan, and it'll be the same with Trump. It's not as if the intervening Democrats were a ton better. Rich people run the show, always have. Some generations are better at standing up to them. The current generation in power just happens to knuckle under to corporate interest at every single opportunity.

Yeah, I was gonna ask... what good will ending net neutrality do, aside from putting money in the pocket of corporations?

We did fairly well in the mid-1900s when unions were at their strongest, but that was gradually broken down and then crushed by Reagan. Everything since then has been degradation of the middle class. US wage inequality is 3rd world developing nation level of bad right now.

And still there are fools voting for people like Trump into office and praising Reagan as if he was god's gift to the US.

Hey... despite all of Reagans flaws he was at least existing enough in reality to understand when taxes needed to be raised and such. the Current Republicans? their far beyond that to the point that their barely existing in reality anymore.

    ?????

Reagan drastically cut taxes for the rich and raised taxes for the middle class.

Correct. It was Bush Sr who finally realized the situation was unsustainable and raised taxes across the board. And they booted him out of office for it. Granted he caused his own problems with the whole "read my lips" deal.

He raised them, but they never got back anywhere near pre-Reagan levels for the rich.

    So,

Its against the rules to post memes, so I cannot post that meme of the skeleton with the caption "waiting for reasons why Net Neutrality is bad"

If one such reason exists I'll give up the Internet for a month to be declared in the future.
