And how literally insane it is to see people defend that. I mean either I'm going insane or people are making excuses for something so painfully obvious and on video. It's frightening to the degree people can blind themselves when you start worshiping a cult of personality.

Anybody with real intelligence wouldn't want to be president.
I am not a Republican or a Democrat..... I just hate Trump with a passion. If he was on fire I wouldn't piss on him to put him out.

At least it's the impression the media are trying to give us.

Now, I have been proven right, and I think I could do a great job as a high ranking official.
Sounds like you got it figured out. Surely getting elected is pretty easy, right? I look forward to your campaign in 2020.

I thought pretty long on this question, and Nixx's answer here is actually the best response.

I'm smart enough to know that you can't win as president, so I would never run. I'm also not nearly self serving enough.

Made me realize I love and care about my country to a vast extent. This happened long before election day though, and finally convinced me to vote for him.

By voting for somebody who only cares about himself?

In some regards, Americans just are not cut from a better cloth at all. That's certainly a change for me. Silly me for expecting my people to adhere to a high standard rather than a guttertrash one.
Please elaborate on how you think things should be. I'll go get the popcorn.

Yes. Hillary cared about the American people. That was evident by her saying what was ever popular at the time.

Never underestimate the power of the cult of personality. (Bernie, Trump)

I agree. Times are good, and the salt over floweth from my goblet. The tears flowed in so much it flooded a dam in California, and ended the drought. Good times brought to us by the left.

Yet, Trump hasn't done anything to help you or anyone else but his billionaire buddies. But don't let facts get in your way.

I actually leaned a little more right. Not because of Trump, but because of the left's overreaction to Trump.

Trump helped by getting Gorsuch in there so the 2nd amendment has a chance. That's the only thing that matters to me.

I work hard for a living and at the moment pay low taxes due to living in a red state, so I have nice things, though federal taxes are pretty high. I just got back from a two week trip to Rome Italy and stayed right across the street from the Colosseum in the egg room. Ate the best food, and seen some great sites. Times are good for my wife and I.

I don't care what billionaires do. They earned it, and as long as I get to pay low taxes and not have to pay leeches for free schooling, healthcare, and other shit that the left thinks they're owed because they're here, then Trump's done a lot, because Hillary would want to come into my life.

You want free school? Do like me and work for it, or join the military. You want healthcare at a reasonable cost. Do like I do and work for a god damn living, or like I did join the military. You want nice things. Try working. It's amazing what giving your services for money can do.

You don't like the services put out by that company, then don't buy it. Capitalism is that simple. When government gets involved, it's no longer capitalism. It's crony capitalism hiding under socialism.

Capitalism is one person with goods with a price, and the other person deciding if they want that good or not. If someone sells it cheaper then that person goes to the cheaper price. Socialism is force. Like rape. No choice to say yes or no. It's either do it, or you get a gun to the face.

Amusing that a topic with a title that claims to call for self reflection is full of "What I learned about myself is that people who oppose me are stupid."

And they they wonder why they lost.
