1. As a registered independent, I think of myself - or did - as a centrist, with a slight republican lean..... but because of Trump, I think I lean way more left than I knew.

2. That I used to think a lot of lying was OK in politics, but not now, not to this degree.

3. That I am literally smart enough to be the president of the USA, or at least a high ranking cabinet member. As Trump was picking all these billionaires, I told anybody who would listen that "Having a billion dollars doesn't make you smart". Now, I have been proven right, and I think I could do a great job as a high ranking official.

That I gave some of my fellow Americans too much credit: Russian peasant mentality is not just a Russian problem. Far from being assertive (small d) democrats, plenty of Americans would be just happily content being ruled by their very own Putin, so long as their narrow political agenda was advanced.

In some regards, Americans just are not cut from a better cloth at all. That's certainly a change for me. Silly me for expecting my people to adhere to a high standard rather than a guttertrash one.

Trump helped by getting Gorsuch in there so the 2nd amendment has a chance. That's the only thing that matters to me.

I work hard for a living and at the moment pay low taxes due to living in a red state, so I have nice things, though federal taxes are pretty high. I just got back from a two week trip to Rome Italy and stayed right across the street from the Colosseum in the egg room. Ate the best food, and seen some great sites. Times are good for my wife and I.

I don't care what billionaires do. They earned it, and as long as I get to pay low taxes and not have to pay leeches for free schooling, healthcare, and other shit that the left thinks they're owed because they're here, then Trump's done a lot, because Hillary would want to come into my life.

You want free school? Do like me and work for it, or join the military. You want healthcare at a reasonable cost. Do like I do and work for a god damn living, or like I did join the military. You want nice things. Try working. It's amazing what giving your services for money can do.

You don't like the services put out by that company, then don't buy it. Capitalism is that simple. When government gets involved, it's no longer capitalism. It's crony capitalism hiding under socialism.

Capitalism is one person with goods with a price, and the other person deciding if they want that good or not. If someone sells it cheaper then that person goes to the cheaper price. Socialism is force. Like rape. No choice to say yes or no. It's either do it, or you get a gun to the face.
