    Lightbulb Night Elf Paladins???

My favorite WoW race is Night Elves and my favorite class is paladin...unfortunately I cannot have both (yes i know i could be a blood elf paladin, but not a fan of the blood elf models and such) so after having added another night elf paladin(delas/nerus) to my class hall list, is it finally time to allow night elves to roll the paladin class?

It's certainly a possibility. Personally I hope they add subraces before that, though.

The Moonfangs are a pretty good hint that we might be seeing Elunite paladins before too long, especially when coupled with the hints in Chronicle that Elune might be a Titan construct. It wouldn't take too much work on Blizzard's end to rule night elf paladins as Priestesses of the Moon who focused on martial melee training--making them a parallel to the first human paladins like Turalyon, Uther, and Gavinrad who were all priests that took up holy arms and armor.

Subraces are a popular term used for races like Wildhammer and Dark Iron dwarves, Broken draenei, Mag'har orcs, forest trolls (the big, bulky ones), the various Tauren offshoots, and the like who are part of the Alliance and Horde, but aren't playable and wouldn't warrant a full playable race different from existing races.

I had a thread about this prior to the expansion (http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...t-Elf-Paladins), and most of the respondents weren't in favour of it. Then again a huge swath of people on these forums also said Gnome Hunters would never happen.

    Naysayers gonna nay-say.

They are going to allow every combo in the end, it being fluffy or not.

Waiting for leper gnome paladins, before being too old and dying of old age at the 23rd expac, that is.

I'd venture to say that they won't really expand druids, due to needing race specific forms.

Not until I get Gnome Druids.

An idea for Gnome Druids which would not require any additional resources, and could keep with the Lore. The gnomes, resourceful and inventive, have been studying the night elf druids and trying to replicate the nature based transformation into something more their speed. Technology. In every sense of the word (as far as gameplay is concerned) this character is a druid.

    GUARDIAN - Robo Bear Cub

    FERAL - Fluxfire Feline

    MOONKIN - Moonkin Hatchling

    RESTORATION - Ruby Sapling

SWIFT FLIGHT FORM - Rocket Chicken

    AQUATIC FORM - Frenzy

The power suit would even have its own acronym: D.R.U.I.D.

    Dimensional
    Robotic
    Utility
    Interface
    Device

I know it will never happen... but it is fun to dream..

No offense... but Pandas NEVER should have come into WoW. One fucking Panda in WC3 does not a playable race make. What I told Blizz when they added pandas:

Which is why they came up with a whole lot of lore for them. And It ended up being one of the best expansions, too. But this isn't the point of the thread, so keep the panda hate elsewhere.

In the War of the Ancients, the Sisterhood of Elune wore battle plate and rode mounts to battle while calling on Elune's light. That sounds like paladins to me.

Sorry but MoP was genuinelly good for an original story not taken directly from WC3, hence I must like Panda's.

Pandas work better as a playable class than the forsaken.

If we have undead as playable race, then we should have race of demons too. (and old god minions as well... might as well add race of dragons/elementals too)

    Totally agree with you.

Really there is 0 rational explanation why pandaren shuold not be inside this game. 0, nada, nessuna, nothing. I mean, it's a FANTASY game with every fucking type of creature, but for some reason Panda are forbidden.

Now, you can LIKE THEM or NOT, but that's the case for all WoW classes.

The races have lost all their feel with all the additions. Tauren paladins, gnome hunters, they find some reason somewhere to make it so that the new race/class combos make sense. I don't know why they don't just add every race/class combo now, they will surely find some hidden character somewhere in the story of warcraft for every combo.
