Or because the children will see their parents die to those "godless heathens" from the West, they will rise up and become the new isis. But you thinking we should kill children now is another way to look at his post I guess.

Losing is not a big issue for them, dying while fighting for their god is the greatest glory, this is why they are so dangerous, they don't fear death

How do you expect to "kill" an ideology in the age of information?

Actually the level of education of ISIS member is high, most with secondary school and university degrees. Some of their leaders have doctorates, there are tons of people with masters and PHDs who are religious zealots here, sadly being educated doesn't make you immune to cult brainwashing.

Nazi's and KKK or, from what i've learned or heard of, are dying out. Most people like myself don't care what you look like so long as you're not hurting anyone. Do as you do, but once you starting acting evil, that were you should end.

Unfortunately, it's a very difficult topic, but laying down and just taking it isn't going to help either.
I agree we should fight but Nazis and the KKK have had a resurgence as of late, most people just want to live their lives. My point was rather simple you cannot kill an ideology through conventional warfare alone, ISIS and other radicals have been getting a increasing diet of bombing and fighting and we are still getting nowhere.

The problem here is that you can kill as many as you want of them idiots but you can't kill their believe in what they are doing, it is spreading like fire into young people from around the world and this is the problem you can't destroy, sadly.

They recruit people from all walks of life even foreigners and according to the children who escape ISIS from Syria they keep the school systems running using their own brainwashing courses. They do things like replace counting apples with grenades etc, our intelligence agencies knows better than to underestimate them.

we should either just kill them all or annex the whole place. those people are nothing but savages, all they do is kill each other in droves anyway.

They're crazy so you really shouldn't look for any sort of logical conclusion.
If "done goofed" would be the actual conclusion to draw then Islamist terrorism would already be a thing of the past. In fact they do believe the entire opposite. If suffering happens then they believe that they are doing the right thing. They don't seek glorious death for no reason. There are a few groups who do have rather political motives but the hardcore religious ones, which as it happens is what ISIS is, see their political motivation in a clearly religious context making it a militant religious sect even though it had been engineered by political remainders of the Saddam regime. As long as the basis for such thinking exists this will only get worse.

The issue is that ISIS is seen as a "minor annoyance" by the surrounding local powers and their supporters who see Iran and the current Syrian government as a greater threat.

You can't kill an ideology, but you can disrupt the social structures that propagate and sustain it. This is especially the case when the ideology becomes embodied in a quasi-government, subject to destruction like any government.

The problem isn't ISIS, they're such a minor and laughable threat that only looks big because of the public attacks they've committed.

The real problem is what created ISIS and what created all the other Terrorist organisations over there. But we won't be dealing with that any time soon, so we just have to put up with it and keep bombing them to make sure they don't gain too much power.
