Far-rightwingers are also frustrated right now, they wanted public outrage and fear to dictate the days and weeks after the terror attack. Intelligent discussions on real solutions, love and support for one another is what they got instead.

We both know that when people talk about immigration in these topics they're talking asylum seekers from ME or African countries, where the culture is different. To add the numbers from job seekers, students and other members within the EES to those numbers inflates them. Especially as you know that very few members on this board are actually going to be able to translate that chart.

Immigrants are immigrants no matter where they come from. East europeans /balkans are problematic too, as are south americans. The africans and arabs aren't the only group with a high overrepresentation in crime and unemployment.

It isn't any surprise, the mods have always been the censoring type when it doesn't fit their views.

The rules are pretty clearly indicated, and pointing out the practices of a tiny fraction of a religion as what the whole religion does is bashing. It's been bashing and thus against the rules for years now. People keep doing it, despite knowing that they've been infracted for it time and again. It seems their silly pride and not letting go of their idea that every single muslim is a killer, wife beater, etc. is more important to them, so they keep on doing it.

Sometimes moderation can be wrong, which is why there's an appeal process. But people have been getting infractions for the exact same muslim bashing remarks for years. When kids burn their hands on the stove, they learn. So if kids can learn, why can't (supposedly) grown men/women? Is their need to tell the world that every single muslim is a terrorist and wife beater THAT strong?

When Trump pointed out some of Sweden's problems, he just did it as a way to say " we don't want that here," I didn't get any indication from that speech (or the speeches before and after or from his policy) that he "desperately wanted Sweden to fail."

If you are, I would imagine that being shot by the outsiders might be worst, because you let them in to do this and could have completely prevented it.

WTC attacks were done from the outside, the USA isnt really guilty in this one. Sweden foolishly invited masses of people with questionable backgrounds (no documents, weirdly high number of people who are born 1st January) and calls them "refugees" (people who cross atleast 10 safe countries lul).

Nope. Not going to be any imprisonment for opposing the government here. The government would kind of have to go against our constitution to do so and they're a minority government. Fastest way for them to lose power. There's 6 other parties in the parliament.

Most recent murder rates under UNODC put the US at 92nd. To give you an idea of how that stacks up by country, Canada is 89th. Turns out you don't need guns to kill people. Who knew?

Also, the US should take its states into account, because not all of the US has a gun problem. A few of the highest states for gun deaths in this picture also don't have the crime or murder rates of some states (CA has a pretty high murder rate, but a low gun death rate).
