Where the fuck is Mal'ganis? Considering how big a part of WC3 he was it seems odd that he has only appeared like twice since and in very small roles. I was certain he would be tied to the Lich King more closely but he just sort of shows up....you beat him and then he does the whole "I'll be back!" thing and then we haven't seen him since. Unless I missed something in a book or something somewhere that is the last we saw him.

There are many other things going way back I would like to see but not all of them even make sense anymore and there are way too many. A huge one though is where the hell is Jaina at? They spent all this time building her up to be something important after they "broke" her character then they tried to fix it in a book but then that was never reflected in game. Then all the sudden she is mad again and then takes off never to be seen again. Unless she shows up on Argus somehow I think she is gone for the rest of Legion.

Where the fuck is Mal'ganis?

In the Legion intro quest where you storm the broken shore for the first time, Mal'ganis appears with a huge assortment of demons in front of the alliance (down the cliff if you're horde) near the end of the scenario.

Rommath is still not going to let Vereesa and the SC back into Quel'thalas, Vereesa kept trying to get herself killed by shooting arrows at Rommath during the Nighthold campaign. Liadrin talks about how they couldn't trust Vereesa to cover their flank at all. So as far as blood elves vs SC they still hate eachother. As far as night elves/blood elves they really didn't do much to ease the hatred either imo.

More importantly, I hope Vol'jin comes back as a spirit and takes control of the dark spear again, or maybe he takes another body.

Whatever Wrathion has been doing since we left him in MoP. Whatever Anduin has been doing since he was made king (I know this is addressed in 7.2). What Sylvanas' plan is now that she can't get the val'kyr.

In Ask Creative Development in 2012, they acknowledged that Wrathion is not omniscient, and that Sabellian and his brood still remain in Outland.

Still five years outdated, but there's been nothing to contradict this since.

Vol'jin never seemed to be a completed story. I always had the impression it was left open and his spirit was taken by the Loa to be brought back later.

This may be in the DK campaign, but the story of Thassarian and the blood elf DK. There was the whole story in Cata that seemed to be left open and wasn't touched again.

Wrathion is a mystery and would like to see him reappear, along with Ebonhorn as others have mentioned.
