The submarine thread made me curious. So this is mostly a question askable by anyone, and hopefully to be answered by the military nerds out here. If given the military was to put you in a position in any area within the military sector, based on your skills/work experience, what could it be?

For example, as a female (student) archaeologist with computer experience, where would you put me in the military (if given you have to put me somewhere within the military obviously)?

Is this the "computer experience" women like to put in their application? So basically you know how to fire up word? I'd put you in the front office of some general. If you look pretty. If not, I'd hide you in the basement for some report analysis (ie, putting reports into statistics).

Me? I'd definitely be officer material. I make good decisions. :P

When I was in the army, both of my MOS' were MI, so i'd be right back in there. 99th percentile in all but 2 of the ASVAB tests, I'm tall and not ugly... I could be in the Statesmen with Channing and Pablo.

So I'm a competitive strongman which would probably put me in infantry. On the other hand I'm also a qualified accountant and financial software developer, so I'm hoping I'd end up in the finance department a long, long, long way from anyone trying to kill me.
