More likely feminism might play a role in the upcoming vote. Women voting for Le Pen just because she is a woman..... France has never had a female president. France has only had one female prime minister, and that didn't last long either. French women might have a thirst for a female leader, regardless of her being a far right extremist.

It's based on fact that 40% on french voters are considered undecided. It only take one small terrorist attack to make majority of that 40% to vote for Le Pen. France had a terrorist attack 2 days before the elections. And this isn't Le Pen's first election either, there are no "hidden voters", she needed every single vote to even reach the second round.

My point is that newer platforms can have a big effect on society. They are going towards decentralization, no need for larger or centralized "journalism" hubs. Each individual has more control over the flow of information. My argument is that this good for more individualistic ideologies and bad for those that require higher levels of conformity.

Problem is that most people don't know what to do with the information they get and some use that to control them through fear and lies.
It's not all good.
