There are a few types of people in the world. There are those who know how to cook and are confident in their expertise. Then, there are those who aren't very good and lack a little confidence in the culinary department.


And then, there's me, who just duct taped a plastic bag over the non-removable fire alarm just-in-case because the fire department said I'd get fined if I make them come here again over my cooking attempts.

I don't know how else to make it stop It's non-detachable, it's built into the ceiling, and I tried to find a way to like follow the wires and see if it leads to some sort of power source, maybe somewhere with batteries, but if there is such a thing it's not in my apartment. The only way I could think of was just... Cover it. If I cover it, it won't go off! (hopefully)

Still, I'm not sure trying to cook if you're that unskilled at it is a good idea Hanna.. There's probably a reason it's non-detachable. If you can, I suggest finding some poor guy/girl who likes cooking, kidnapping them, and forcing them to cook for you.
