It definitely does seem like she is trying to build up a more "neutral" image now that she got into the second round, probably in an attempt to distance herself from the image of the FN and to cater to people that would not vote for the FN.
That said, it seems like such a weird move. Does she expect people to suddenly forget where she comes from politically? Does she expect people to believe that she is suddenly a different person?

"The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference."
Elie Wiesel (1928 – 2016)
Glad to see LePen is not going to win this.
At least France has a brain, Glad to be of French descent. Makes me proud that at least some in this world are smart folks.
Now If America can just Impeach the orange clown already, perhaps we can get this world back to some path to normalcy and decency again.
We think we climb so high, Upon the backs we've condemned ...We face our Conϛequence.
That is never going to happen: she is the party just as much as her father was. And she is not a new figure on the French political scene, kinda hard to distance herself from such an heritage.
She is more likely trying to send the message that voting for her does not mean voting only for the Front National - She is trying to appear above party lines in order to attract electors from the right and center-right. It looks like a desperate move coming right after the first turn, though.

"omg extreme right"
You do know that by calling someone extreme right, you put them in the same box as actualy neonazis right? Just like you liberals tend to immediately call someone racist for the most mundane reason, your ignorant habit of using the most radical terms will backfire hard, because people don't take you guys seriously anymore.
She is not her father. And by contrast, she WANTS her person and policies to be the focus and not have the predispositions of her former party as baggage. Assuming she wanted people to believe she is a different person could not be more ignorant.
Had Austrias Hofer distanced himself from the FPOE, his chances definitely would have risen.
France elections suck tbh, you got leftwing big government people vs right wing big government people pretty much.
Her policies are FN's policies, you're ignorant on euro politics. Most parties have a central leadership and are not divided(in causes or whatever) like in the US.

Again, Macron is a ultra-liberal, he more right-wing than any thing.
Youre looking at the face shes trying to make to appeal right wing more moderate electors. Her vice-president do the "real" talk just after she speak almost every time. Beside if you know the history of the party, and not only le pen, its an actual clusterfuck of different right wing to ultra right wing (and ultra ultra right wing too) .
