Don't worry guys, we'll magically see 9%+ growth to offset the revenue losses! They promise!

Listening to them vaguely talk about the "tax plan" is painful to listen to. These people are literally existing in a fantasy land.

    so.. thoughts?
personally, this reeks of trickle down... and that type of policy is proven not to work, so say welcome to a giant fiscal deficit fellas
There is no such thing as trickle down. You are ignorant beyond belief whenever you use those two words together.

He also wants to lower tax rates for the rich.

Seems those who arent rich are the ones going to pay for it then.

    Once again.

    Pretty easy to prove that.

Strangely enough he is kind of correct. Since the United States borrows in the currency it issues it will never default unless it makes the dumb decision to someday do so. Typically it would just print more of it and inflate the debt away though that would lead to inflation (there's no free lunch).

Of course because its Trump its like he saw it on an episode of sesame street and so tries to explain it as a 5 year old would.

No, the last crash was the biggest one since the Great Depression.

Remember after 9/11 and airline stocks plummeted to pennies per share? Yeah I was the one saying people should buy all they could afford because they WILL bounce back. People HAVE to fly and they have gained it all back and more.
You think the airline stock crash was similar to 2008? Go and check the Dow for the last 10 years...

Maybe I should run for president...

First EO: Being poor will now result in a tax penalty of $5,000 or 36% of your income. Whichever is higher.

It'll cause people to no longer be able to afford to be poor.

fantastic so Trump is cutting taxes and giving them the means to pay even less then 15%. I'm sure the mega rich are feeling the MAGA all over their face neck and chests.

Now I'm just confused. There has been no indication that they will reduce spending. They had targeted the ACA repeal and replace to get them the freed up funding but that fell flat on its face. Sure -- if they can come up with cuts that are meaningful and not pennies here and there to offset the income reduction then you'll be right -- the deficit won't increase. But the GOP has been screaming about deficits for a long time now and suddenly they are running full bore into a plan that will create a fairly large one.

So you have $200,000 in a 401k that's only 10 years old and right now your salary is $50k before taxes. Which means 10 years ago your salary was probably significantly less.

You aren't fooling anyone. But we're all used to your shenanigans here. You really are a true forum artist. Bravo good sir, bravo.

You do realize that 401K money does increase, especially if you steer it toward high risk investments and succeed

I'd be careful about rushing to Orlong's defense if I were you. The math doesn't look great if you make any sort of logical assumptions about wages over time and ROIs.

No need. Im perfectly with my salary. I pay all my bills and still have 300 to 400 a paycheck to put way or invest. I choose not to live in a cesspool like New York City where rent is $2500 a month
