I don't think the boomers themselves are the issue. I think the birth rate bubble created post WWII is the problem. That huge population bump causes all kinds of social issues.

The baby boomers have nonthing to do with the financial crisis. That has largely to blame on immigrants coming into the country and not paying taxes, and increasing crime while at thus were spending on even more money.

I'm tired of young people (<30) bashing. This could be a thread about feelings or entitlement or whatever, but it won't.

Let's look at some facts :

- Boomers are the generation wrecking total havoc on the environment while being fully aware of it.

- Boomers transformed a thriving post WW2 economy into major financial crisis, unprecedented levels of wealth inequality, and crippling fees on health and education.


I could go on forever but the point is that today I can't think of one single thing our elders did right, apart from constantly blaming their children

At this point we will never have nice things until we wait for all of them to pass out

I do not think a single thing could have been done by boomers to prevent the problems we see now and admittedly some of those problems started well before they were born.
