Mixon was the BPA. Good pick by the bengals.
My stance on Mixon is the same one I had with foster.

Jeremy hill is garbage and cost us that playoff game.

I yelled Mixon when he was on the board and didn't look back

    Patriots original 2017 picks:

    1-32: Traded
    2-64: Traded
    3-96: Traded
    Top 4th rounder: Forfeited
    5-175: Traded
    6-215: Traded
    7-250: Traded

    Trader Bill working the board.

Like the picks we got so far. 3 cone stud DE and a OT probably handpicked by our respected miracle worker O-line coach. At worst we filled our DE hole and can let go of our pretty awful swing tackle. That's already making the team better.

Holy shit the Skins are killing the draft. Ryan Anderson is a hell of a pass rushing 3-4 OLB that can even slide in and play ILB. Fabian Moreau is a crazy good athlete of a CB. Suddenly our D has the infusion of youth and speed that it desperately needs.

I like what the Pats have done in the draft. Got 2 areas I felt were a need (hopefully) filled. Because they already filled a lot of holes in free agency haha.

Good to see James Connor get drafted. That story is very impressive.

Oh man. what a thing. I can't believe the vikings kicker missed a chip shot to beat the hawks in the playoffs.

We're still talking about that right? Or has anything else happened since then?

I liked the picks we made last night, we needed some pass rushers and all three of our picks can do that. Though we still have some holes at Ol, which is getting little concerning.

Eh, not much changed. Patriots still really good, Browns still suck. I guess the Raiders are good now, that's new.

Either way, welcome back, enjoy your stay. 2017-2018 is going to be wild it seems.

"Source: the Patriots have exercised the 2018 5th-year option on WR Brandin Cooks."

    Field Yates

The obvious thing that would happen, but it is now done. Cooks under contract till end of 2018-2019 (and probably extended next off season).

Gonna be boring today, Saints don't have a pick 'til #196. Wonder if Butt will still be there.

When does the draft start today?

Lil bitches like Dalvin Cook can't hang with legends.

How Oklahoma didn't win it all with those offensive... weapons, is beyond me. #TeamMixon

I can see why teams avoid guys with injuries. The draft is a crap shoot enough even with healthy guys, big injuries just increases the chance of them not working out.

Both the WR and DB Denver drafted are fast returners with drop issues. Can't wait for the Trindon Holliday 2.0 TD or bust heart attacks, but at least it isn't Jordan Norwood. The DE is getting compared to Derek Wolfe, so maybe an Elway 2nd rounder other than Derek Wolfe will work out.

Plus having someone named DeMarcus Walker the year after losing DeMarcus Ware and Vance Walker seems fitting.

Patriots traded pick 183 to the Chiefs for pick 216 and TE Shaughnessy. Quite a bit of depth behind Gronk and Allen now, will be interesting to see who makes it out of training camp.

Going to kinda suck cause it means a long gap between picks in the 4th and 6th. Though, it's likely Bill trades down from 4th to pick up further picks.

And FINALLY Jake Butt was grabbed, by the Broncos, with the first pick of the 5th round.

Yep. Shame there's a chance he won't see the field early in the season and might even start on PUP, cause I love me some dad-joke butt references.

Huh? I thought they went defense on 4 out of 5 picks so far?

I mean, out of five picks, four have been on defense.
