Evidence of what. That the vast majority of the 24million were bullied into signing up or face large penaltiea tax season?

The cost going up nearly 1000%as of 2017

Obamacare is a joke and anyone that acts like it being removed is a travesty

It's just hilarious to see how americans let their lives be trampled and smile when being done so. Shouldnt some alarm bells ring when they take away your healthcare but keep it to themselves? I mean seriously, how can you not see that they're fucking you raw

But Obamacare isn't being removed it is just being modified, the house bill isn't a full repeal.

We were talking about autism not being a negative hereditary condition. I mean, if you were going to shitpost and take potshots at random posters anyway, at least do it with some class and be at least tangentially on-topic.

Obamacare isn't as much a joke as your behavior in this forum.

Weird, the latest town halls signal otherwise.

    Hm.

I sure hope the irony of this post was intended as to make a point. Keep that circle-jerk going, you high-functioning beauty.

I think the issue is you're misunderstanding premiums... employers not covering as much leads to the employee paying more but that doesn't mean that premiums actually went up. For instance is something cost 500 and your employer covers 450 and you pay 50 that looks good to you. If it now goes down to 475 and you pay 75 and your employer pays 400, it looks like your premiums went up. A huge driving factor in higher prices was that employers were not contributing as much as they used to.

All the Dems need to do is bring up the House Republicans who voted in favor of this bill and really lay into it come the 2018 midterm campaigns and that's going to flip a whole lot of moderate and center-right voters once healthcare becomes the 2018 big-button issue.
That's the short term effect. For sure the republicans have just lost a whole lot of house seats due to Trump voters who will now vote to punish them in 2018. But you can expect them to go back to the republican party eventually, either in 2020 or 2022 (especially if a democrat becomes president in 2020). The real damage will be over the longer term as the republicans brand is further damaged with new voters who have yet to pick a political home. There are no positive aspects to this bill to draw them in, quite the reverse, what it does - give tax cuts to the 1% and take healthcare away from the poor and lower middle class to pay for it - is utterly repugnant and will push them away.

Ironically, this bill will kill more republican supporters than democrat. From the worst voting group at that: boomers.

But there is a fine you get it when you sign up again with an insurance company, the only difference is the government is not collecting the money and the insurance company can charge you whatever they want.

Have you read any summary of the bill? it seems you don't know what's in it.

This will largely only serve to increase premiums.

It means that if you become obese then afterwards buy health insurance, the health insurance providers can say sorry "we won't cover you for x,y,z, because its due to your pre-existing condition that you had before you bought insurance from us". In general it means insurance companies can literally find a way out for paying for anything because somehow somewhere everyone has suffered from something health wise at a prior point in their lives, and you can then tie that however tenuously, to whatever you need treatment for now.

Except I don't support Trump, I just find that it is mildly hilarious to see how US dem supporters get so triggered by anything that doesn't fit their views and resort to calling anyone a Trump supporter, even if they're are on the very same side, except, we don't agree on things.

They did not rise by 1000%. The average rate of increase of premiums fell after Obamacare was implemented due to it having some minor cost control measures included. That they still rose (but less than expected) can not be blamed on Obamacare because that was going to happen anyway.

Of course not. Apparently this forum draws in nothing but "independants" who will always coincidently defend trump or deflect criticism.
