Shingeki no Kyojin S2 31 - You know, despite how overrated this series is and how shitty its fanbase is, I can't deny it still manages to create a certain level of excitement in me. Even though I've read these chapters of the manga and knew what was going to happen, I was still hyped as fuck.

Shingeki no Kyojin S2 31 - You know, despite how overrated this series is and how shitty its fanbase is, I can't deny it still manages to create a certain level of excitement in me.

That's how I approach AoT. It has a fairly generic protagonist, fairly simple structure, and enough melodrama to last a lifetime. And to make it worse it's ridiculously popular as a gateway anime, so there's a constant buzz of how great it is. But in spite of that, I do look forward to it every week. It's easy and enjoyable to watch with a good design, solid action, and some standout moments. I'll take it.
