No way in hell a person wearing as much plate armor as you wear in WoW would make you just push your limits so you become as agile and fast as someone who wears cloth.

Remember, those clothies are just as buffed as plate wearers.

With actual lore? No, they arent as buff, let alone trained and fit. To wear plate armor.

Paladins actually used to glide when Wings was popped with glyph back in MOP.

Monks called WindWalkers and MistWeavers so they probably should have something like glide apart from Zen Flight.

They often don't. Need to summon a horse to keep up.

Also, it's not like it's jousting plate, which you wouldn't wear into combat unless you are idiotic Frenchmen at the battle of Agincourt.

Demon hunters can glide using their wings, well guess what, Avenging Wrath anyone? Remember when Yrel was getting bitch choked by Blackhand and she grew a pair of wings? Paladins can grow wings of light. So why can't they glide just like demon hunters?

Demon Hunters have wings as a part of their physical being, they are actually meant to glide. Paladins don't. Paladin wings are aesthetic. They are not physical and would not be capable of lifting anyone, let alone the guy wearing plate armor.

the paladin wings are purly light, they are not phsyical wings... also they are MUCH MUCH smaller, also paladins wear heavy as fuck plate armor well demon hunters wear very little leahter
