it will likely get past the Senate. Senate GOP are no different from House GOP, they will do whatever it takes.

Yeah, it's pretty clear they might have significant changes, but I doubt it won't pass. The rhetoric seems to be that it was passing the buck to the senate, to do the heavy lifting.

You must really haven't paid any attention then. Macron being a banker and a representative of the establishment has actually been one of the main point, and there is a reason why abstention and blank votes have been the highest ever at a presidential election.

"European Union" doesn't sound very pretty, though. Too many vowels and "j" (jot) sounds.

And what specifically are the facts currently known?

There aren't open borders for people outside of the EU. I know the response will be "Refugees!!" but the borders weren't opened, it was closer to clemency for the people who already made it since that was the most immediate problem, while border patrols were increased.

Just call it the "United Kingdom of the Netherlands" and be done with it.

Of course, if we are going to complain about private wealth being taken for others, then you may want to have a discussion about taxation as a whole.

Like I said, nationalists hate freedom, sad!
So when someone arrives we, as a collective that has chosen to install a governing body for civil peace and order, mediate in case of conflict between parties and to ward of external threats, perhaps even to have a better negotiating position in trade issues, have the right to deny that person entry or passage, which includes the use of our infrastructure, such as roads and public transportation.

To be able to become a productive member of society you need certain basic skills. The less you have, the less likely you are to become one. We can make very precise educated guesses. If you dont speak the language, dont have a clue about social norms and you dont have a unique talent to demonstrate or a marketable skill that is in demand, it is not within the collectives interest to extend you any sort of invitation.

And all that boils down to wanting to limit the freedoms of others, even if that person is not causing any harm to anyone. Which is why I wonder, why do nationalists hate freedom so much?

Actually, maybe they do. But since there's no "progressive" government (with or without quotes) in Europe, we'll never know.

You mis understood me, i said kicking them out is not an option either wants due to us having to separate several government branches and the debt. We already are moving more and more to regional independence.

Anyone complaining about progressive and socialist movements inside Europe and their power in governments on both national and european level has had their head buried up their ass, while not even having bothered to actually look who or what is in power.

And no americans, just because you define centrum right as left doesn't mean it's left.

Do I want a super strong central government? No. I want to keep healthcare on the level it's now. Far more responsive. I want social matters to generally not be dictated by the south and the east. I like the option to have a divorce without proof of adultery kthnx.
HOWEVER getting a united foreign policy is in the long run better for our outlook on the world and our way of life.
Getting Swedish policy dictated by EU is not a good thing as we've seen numerous of times, this already happens but they shouldn't get even more influence. At the moment less than 50% vote in the EU elections, it's not a priority for the majority of Swedes. Having a strong union together with Iceland, Denmark and Norway would give us close to equal way to look at government AND can give us a fair trade-deal (similar to what Norway have today).
