Gnomes Holiday has never been about taking your max-level. It's all been about making level 1s.

It's entirely acceptable it's an alliance only event as it takes an alliance main or horde main the exact same time to participate. (Log out, make Gnome, continue).

This event has outgrown the original purpose of creating level 1s - it is beyond level and more about the experience itself.

there doesnt have to be perfect equality. given that the 2 factions are very different from each other, its possible they choose to celebrate different things. we dont need more homogenization, we need less, much much less.

Since this is a GNOME FEMALE event, and you want a horde version, do you have every race male+female?

If not you wouldn't be able to participate properly in a horde version if it happened to be the race+gender you didn't have.

It's not "only females" and never has been. The only requisite is having pink hair. The organisers evem gave pink tabards - this event was born I think in Scarlet Crusade US.

you are to make them on the server the race happens on, or join in one of the groups that cross realms it...
dont try to make a charity event seem like they are trying to force you to delete your chars...

make a lvl 1 gnome ANYWHERE
pink hair
join the group and run

A. you are there, no travel required
B. not everyone has gnomes/is alliance
C. no barber bills because banm your hair is pink

OT, no, Horde doesn't need an equivalent for an event that rewards nothing and has no purpose outside a bit of fun. I do have one bit of criticism about the event and that is the highlighting of breast cancer specifically. Obviously breast cancer is a serious thing and anything done helps, but there's a ton of cancer variations and 99% of them don't get the awareness/recognition/charity that this one does. I feel that way about every specific medical earmark, though. If you want to help, give some money to a general fund and let professionals decide how your money should be allocated. /rant

Once again you are totally besides the point as always. It's no longer about breast cancer, its now an ingame holiday to have fun and just participate.
I agree that everyone should be turned into gnomes and the buff should also prevent flying for the time its applied, but not that awful shitty pink haired gnomes - more random appearances are far better.

Also the running of the trolls event is necessary for the Horde to have the same amount of fun.

It's become a roleplay friendly Azerothian event by becoming a proper miccro-holiday by now.
