If the next expansion has all the shitty systems legion had (AP, legos, titanforging), i'm out.

1. Artifact weapons next xpac
2. p2w store
3. anything similar to AP next xpac
4. the fucking legion legendary system carrying over
5. If a raid tier lasts for 18 months
On a side note, I want class specific legendary items back in the game, like dragonswrath and fangs
I don't really care if someone wants to spend 100 bucks for the gold needed to buy a crafted legendary that is WORSE than the OLD sephuz... but if they start letting you buy actual gear directly from the store, or things like reputation potions/temporary stat buffs/gear slots then I am done. I have issues with the NEED to buy items if the game is free to play... In a sub game, no freaking way.
Given that this kind of carry has occurred throughout the games history, at least as far back as BC and you are talking $2000 for one carry, and NO gear is guaranteed... not really.
Oh, and it is probably MORE expensive to do it that way than it was before the token, cause now guilds are doing it for gold instead of cash, and there is a 33% markup from blizz on the tokens.
I am not THRILLED by the idea... but it does not worry me that much either.
Yeah I think many people are kidding themselves when they say they'd never play WoW 2. I've been playing this game since closed beta 2004. With many breaks of course, and the breaks are getting longer and longer now. For me I'd be more excited for WoW than ever if they announced WoW 2. I haven't felt pure excitement for the game since WotLK and that saddens me.
But for the question asked, a removal of high difficulty raids or a p2w shop that sells gear is what would make me quit forever.
Technically no because it still requires you to "play". It falls under the same category as Level Boost being "pay-to-not-play". However, race/faction/server change (server firsts etc) is inherently P2W based on game balance, but there's soft-caps to it to prevent abuse and anyone caught doing hard exploits will usually get banned.
The kind of P2W that you need to worry about is "Pay to reset your raid lockout!" or "Pay to get this exclusive legendary item that gives you an advantage over anyone who doesn't have it!"
That's just blatant cheating though.
There are no bathrooms, only Zuul.
If it's stale with new content added with expansion and patches, a reboot giving us the same mechanics just in a different engine would be the perfect way to give people an out.
I DON'T feel that the game is stale, I enjoy it as much as ever, and I would 100% stop giving a shit if they put out WoW2 and told me to start over with "You'll get modern graphics lol!"...
Why start over new trying to reign in people that are more or less over the game when they can focus on keeping those of us whom are willing to keep playing and paying?

If they double the subscription price
Ill play until I cannot play anymore.

Won't know it until I see it. I'm much more liberal with unsubbing than I used to be, these days I just sub for the first month of a patch and then quit when I realize it's disappointing... again.
P2W shop. More micro-transactions in general.
How not? You're paying real money, which gets you in game currency, which is used to purchase items that are an advantage over those without it. Sure, it's not "Buy the best directly from us!" but pay to win (or pay for advantage if you don't like it called pay to win) is slowly seeping into the game. Not drastically, but it is there.
If they remove raids or make them solo content.
