Typing that up, I sorely miss a phrase to describe the right-wing version of "SJW", "young people on the outer right" sounds really inaccurate.

First off, everything I wrote would still apply even if there wasn't anything spread 'into' their country. Because China already has like 50+ different ethnic minorities, and shitting on them could basically be considered a national sport.

Not really. It was communist for about 2 years until Mao lost popularity in the party since it was clear communism wasn't working and Deng Xiaoping took over. They kept the name, but none of the principles. The word "communism" is blocked in Chinese internet, specifically to prevent the population from knowing what communism actually is.

China is actually a merit-based oligarchy, with a much larger portion of the government made up of engineers and scientists (people that understand numbers) compared to countries with marketing/loud-yelling based governments. The "merit based" portion is based on promotions within the party being based on your region exceeding growth expectations, and/or whatever other metrics are currently high priority.

Not saying it's the right way to go - they have some pretty serious authoritarian problems, but they're certainly not 'communist.'

I'm continually amazed that the far right keeps trotting out the fact that they agree with the mainland Chinese public on various topics, as if it was something to be held up and admired. I guess it's simply never dawned on them that they're constantly agreeing with people who value strongmen & authoritarian stability and who think democracy is a weakness.

And it's not as if their beliefs are grounded in any sort of good reasoning, either. That part where the Chinese mock the focus on immigrants and minorities? Yeah, that's because Han Chinese have this tendency to be racist as hell. And before the excuses roll in: they acknowledged it themselves decades ago, and made a token attempt to fix it with the policy of 'Zhonghua Minzu' in their constitution. This has, of course, done jack shit to actually reduce Han supremacist tendencies.

It isn't a conspiracy theory when the numbers and facts show us that is exactly what is happening. No Latin nations are "diversifying", No African nations are, no asian nations are, and no arab nations are. ONLY white nations are being told that they HAVE to diversify or they are racist. The numbers even show that whites are getting smaller in their own nations while foreign born babies are starting to take over. "Steal everything from the west" is an interesting one. The entire point of TPP was to mitigate IP theft/trade biases by structuring trade across Asia... but we opted out (I guess 'cause most Americans haven't actually studied or done business in international trade), allowing China to continue ignoring western IP protections. Is it stealing if we give it to them?
