As for them riding mounts, they could just have their tail kind of wrap around the mount, or be kind of hunched on the side of the mount. I'm not really sure how it would look but i'm sure blizz could pull it off.

Maybe they would have a fast travel thing like Worgen as well?

I'd love to have sailing or boats be a part of WoW somehow. AC4 was pretty fun with its sailing. Though I don't see how WoW would ever have boats be a meaningful form of content given the way all of the systems work.
