Honestly this would only hurt the forums. People don't actually know how to use that system. They simply upvotes/downvotes with things that don't align with their own ideas

Not trying to be a total dickface here, but I wanted to say that having a dislike button on mmo-c.com would KILL these forums. Absolutely fucking destroy the forums.. would you like to know WHY? The amount of butthurt that floats around here from jaded ass banned wow players etc that just WILL NOT let wow die, come here and literally shit on everyone, all of the time.

And thats the funny thing about these forums. Even if the idea or the topic of discussion is a completely logical one and has a ton of good points, they just look at the name and instantly disregard it. Its pretty comical actually.

This isn't really the feedback section. Though, a like/dislike system is rather useless, doesn't serve any purpose. And if it did, it could easily be abused.

Blizzard's upvote/downvote system is a good example of how a dislike/like system can be abused. If people doesn't like the poster, they can dislike it so far that it'll be shifted off, and you have to click a secondary link to see the post - even if it is a good post.
