No dedicated servers, potentially only 10 Hz tickrate, and they outsourced the pc port to a company that only makes nintendo DS games. Suffice to say my expectations are quite low.

I played PS3 D1 up until the first DLC, but I never finished the main story. I find it absolutely silly that they are just going to pick up in the middle of the story like this. It's going to turn away a lot of potential players. I see no reason at all they can't port the first one over as well.
well. that's interesting news. activision game for the first time available on blizzard up? sounds cool.
I don't think you can say that without having tried them all. Else it's just assumptions. And even if you have tried them all, it's subjective.

Still many people who play Destiny. I can't exactly say that I have in a long time. But still, we do not know how good or bad a game is until we have tried it our selves.
It might be worse, and it might be better than the first one. It does not matter if we have a bad impression of the first one; but it will affect our impression of it. It's also for the most part a subjective matter.
I did not mean that I did not think they could afford it, but that it would be better for them to focus on the game development and testing instead of making something that already exists.
Yeah, I was probably incorrect in that.
Companies and people change over time and evolve. It would be odd if they stuck with the same opinions forever. You don't have to agree with me of course.. I have not really paid much attention to any previous comments on such things by Blizzard; So I don't know what they have said and have not said previously.
Well consistency is nice, but I don't find it realistic to expect that their opinions on everything will stay the same forever. There are too many people involved, and too many people who start and quit their jobs in a company. I don't think it was necessary to mention anything about "helping
I do like the use of "cutting" corners here. I would rather look at it as hopefully less waste of time. They, as most other projects have likely do a deadline, and investors to please. That's just how it is. They need to make a profit, in order for their investors to get a return on their investment. And spending time, on making something they don't need to make, seems like a waste of time to me.
I "cut" corners often at work, as it makes us not need to develop functionality that already exists in a package or API somewhere. That would cost our customers more money than necessary, and would give us less time to work on other profitable projects as well.
Indeed, it's almost a monopoly.
I don't need this crap on my launcher, they better add a "hide non blizzard games" option.. and not just try and shove crap down my throat..
If you don't care, why bother replying?
If you aspire to things, why bother fighting people on online forums?
If you're so above me, why do you care what my aspirations are?
Small minds always enjoy making others feel smaller.
By the way, that was a joke. With truth in it. It's called satire, or sarcasm, or mature humor, or something, I don't know the term. The joke was referring to success, because if you get to a point in your life where you can fuck 1000$/night hookers every night, or buy lambos, or travel the world every week and stay in the most expensive hotels, it means you've achieved financial success on a higher level than most, except mentioning hookers made it funny because no one aims to reach that kind of financial success just to fuck hookers...it's just something you can afford, because that's how obscenely rich you become.
Unless it's ported to the switch then no. I just don't want two systems. I'm not sure if it's available on Mac OS so really no.
Well this is a really shitty move by Blizzard to be honest, the one true thing we could always trust in is the quality of the games provided on the battle net and now it's just reduced to been another EA Origin platform full of potentially awful games such as this rather low end PC port. Disgusted.
really? why would that trailer encourage me to play a game that seems like wow -- and perhaps many other such games? there doesn't seem to be anything new or inspiring based on that trailer.
well titan got scrapt but hey they get destiny II now to fill the gap......... is it me or is this sound somewaht fishy?
REALLY??? REALLY??? No, for real.... REALLY???
You gone downhill so much you now becoming nothing but a steam game copy, where other games non-blizzard gets to get in on the launcher.
REALLY???
Is Activision that hard up on selling their games they now abuse Blizzard name and good launcher by adding crappy non-blizzard games
Then truly... battle.net is nothing but a steam copy and a bad one at that.
This is a GOOD news seriously!!
I'm very happy!
This is genius. what better way to build a MASSIVE player base than to use blizzard's system! This will be huge for the game
"I'm so fucking pissed at you now Blizz!!! I don't really know why, but I am going to pretend that I am and grasp at any straw like usual!! (while I still secretly love WoW and continue financially supporting the company and games I supposedly dislike)" - vast majority of people commenting.
Always facepalm the comments about Blizzard being FORCED by Activision to put this up. Seriously. This is good for both Activision AND Blizzard, and they're technically the same company but different divisions. Like how stupid can you be.
