I shave mine, mostly for hygiene purposes. I do not think it matters. I think it's weird though that some men who don't shave their own body hair would be super judge-y towards women who don't, hypocrite much?

Yeah I think it's socialization for the most part (gender-specific or otherwise).

Yeah, it just rubs me the wrong way.

It gets smelly and stinky everyone should shave that mess off.

I don't know how much I care. So long as you don't have an extremely obvious bush growing under your arms so that your hair sticks out even when your arms are down, who is really going to care unless you're showing your armpits to people often?

I'm starting to realize that people have a major problem with body hair period, which is kind of weird considering it's a completely natural thing that adult humans have.

How is it nasty on anyone first of all, and how is it nasty on men? What the fuck is "nasty" about hair? Is the hair on your head nasty? Or is it not nasty because YOU CLEAN IT?

I'd rather have a woman scat on me than having to endure hairy armpits and legs.

Where's the difference to touching a man in such a case? I don't need bearlove

My fiancee thinks it's manly, that's why she doesn't want me to shave my legs and chest, but my armpits she still wants gone because they can smell easily. I think so, too. I don't want my woman to look manly.

I had girlfriends in the past who didn't like hair at all so I removed all of it except my facial/head hair. And so did they.

Bottom line is, for whatever reason only weird people like hairy women.

Yeah, the hypocrisy is strong. I really don't get it, if they're not disgusted at their own armpit hair, why are they disgusted with others'?

One is a man, the other one is a woman.

    Where is the hypocrisy?

That there's nothing wrong with man having hair where it grows naturally (groin, armpits, legs) but it is apparently disgusting and unhygienic for women to not shave it. Thus hypocrisy.

It isn't unhygienic. At least it doesn't have to be. That's down to how well and how often you shower.

It's disgusting though. Men have hair. I don't want the woman I'm with to feel and look like a man.

Women have hair too. Women having hair doesn't mean they feel and look like a man, because women naturally grow hair. Women with hair feel and look like women.

I don't care. To me they do, that's all the reasoning I need.

Talk to my fiancee about it, or any other woman I've ever met. They're even more hardcore about this than I am.

Yeah well women also naturally have hair in those areas so I can't see how it's not hypocrisy.

If armpit and leg hair make a woman feel and look like a man I might as well be effin Santa Claus.

Also, I don't care if women also have it.

Men have it, therefore I don't want any on a woman.

    No hypocrisy.

Go buy razors and shave it off, then. Or use hair removing creme.

    Why should I?

I always shave my armpits. I noticed they get smelly faster if I don't.
