All the females in my life friends or intimate i have ever asked about this when these articles appeared (this isnt new) always respond with "Ew, disgusting bitch" when they hear other females dont shave etc.

They always complain about shaving and everything obviously too but they will always do it cause of their own reasons.

Mostly the hygiene, feeling smooth etc etc is their reasons.

Never what other think, its 100% about personal hygiene.

Women started shaving their armpits during WW2 because razor manufacturers needed to dump all their unsold inventory and targeted women to do so.

Knowing what I know now, I would have shaved all over if I were to go back in time when bathing regularly was considered heretical. (If I recall, Queen Isabella of Spain boasted that she had only bathed twice in her life; when she was born, and when she had gotten married. I don't want to imagine the stench of people back then, but it's easy to see why so many women died at childbirth)

I could see this being true, not just because advertising companies secretly want women to have no hair, but because they want to sell their products. In order to sell them they have to convince everyone that body hair on women is gross, then everyone has to buy their stuff to not be gross!

They've created their own weird marketing Twilight Zone. Since they've created the idea that women are perfectly hairless naturally so only gross and aberrant women need shaving products it makes it hard to introduce, market, and sell new products or widen the range of products they offer. They could come out with a line of 'natural' shaving products to appeal to the natural health crowd, but first they have to climb the 'body hair on women is gross and unnatural so we can't talk about it' wall they built. The whole thing is weird.

Correct. And if you do ask them, they will tell you having hair does not mean you are dirtier than without hair. One reason we take baths or showers is to get clean. I mean, these who are so insistent about shaving body hair for health reasons, may as well shave their head and eyebrows too. :P

Even with deodorant and proper cleaning you'll still sweat during the day most likely and that builds up throughout the day in all the hair. I dont even remotely find it attractive.
