Ofcourse it is, they never said they were getting rid of abilties, just merging and incorporating cross job ones as baseline. There's gonna be just as many abilties in Stormblood as there is now

Cleric Stance is a temporary damage boost, no longer a swap on/off. No more stance dancing for healers.

Well then their powerpoint is wrong because they said "too many actions" but they just gonna add more.

And they just talked about debuffs being applied via rotation rather than separate abilities. Probably best to wait for the full combat presentation before analyzing the break down. The first seemed more about not having to level multiple jobs to function as one.

Correct, most of the xclass skills are made baseline/changed and unlock according to your current max levelled job now instead of forcing you into other jobs

They are adding more actions with the new level. They just changed the name of previous action or made a new one or replace a previous one by a new one.

So their powerpoint was misleading.

And this whole battle change is disappointing as hell except for those visual cues.
