At that, he's lying. There are only six countries around that have largely dominated the top spots of international hockey for decades, denmark not being one of those.
With two of those being canada and the US, the remaining ones sweden, finland, czechia, and russia. If you were to extend that further the swizz and slovakia would occupy the spots below them. Everything else is just NHL talent showcasing opportunities with no real shot at winning.

Not really, that's why they put together a "team europe" for nations outside the big six to take part in the world cup last year.

If you're being serious, it's an anime that's about ice skating that's actually called "Yuri on Ice". The main character is named "Yuri", but because dudes and stuff, it's jokingly referred to as "Yaoi on Ice". I haven't watched more than one episode, but considering it's someone that isn't me, their (Mehman) opinion is bad and should feel bad.
Yeah okay. The first episode was kinda meh, didn't really do much for me either. Episode 2-5 are kinda the high point for me, after that it just.. Goes by too quickly, no time to really get to know what happens, it's in too much of a rush.
That said, it's still a fantastic show
