Just watched the first season and am very impressed. No explosions or gunfire just the day to day life of Japanese storytellers and their struggle to keep their medium Rakugo alive. It's an adult show and I really like all of the characters. I bet if you watch the first 3 episodes you'll watch the whole series.
Am watching the second season now, it's okay. It's not as good as the first season but I'm only on the 3rd episode or so, but the second season is still lots better than most anime out there.
One question I've always had is that if you have an anime about real life stuff, wouldn't it be better to just do a live version with RL people? Good RL actors can bring so much to a story.
