    Forget killing him.

Step 1- Take him to the edge of known space
    Step 2-- Push him

    There mission accomplished.

I guess most of the magical marvel characters could like Adam and Dr.Strange. I presume locking Doomsday in a dimension counts as putting him down for good.

And then insane characters like Galactus. Molecule Man and Infinity Gauntlet Thanos.

Supes has pushed him to the end of known space AND time. Didn't stop him permanently. So...no, mission not accomplished.

Time travel, prevent him from ever existing.

Time travel. Go forward in time and bring back Doomsday from the future. Have Doomsday fight himself. He will do so for all eternity.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

Actually gamed this out back in high school. I and several friends used to play the DC tabletop rpg quite regularly. One day I and our regular GM set up a scenario:

Superman (played by me) discovers Doomsday has been captured by a Dominator scientist who's attempting to clone him. The Dominator is keeping him in a space station orbiting a black hole. Superman goes there to stop this , Doomsday escapes his cell in the process.

After a long battle through the station, Superman (again, played by me) and Doomsday (ran by the GM) have used up all our Hero Points (used to affect rolls and such).

I attempt to grapple Doomsday. I succeed. Doomsday fails a breakout test. Next, I (Superman) successfully throw Doomsday from the wrecked station into the black hole. He crosses the event horizon.

The End. ( At least until several hundred billion years in the future when the singularity at its heart evaporates, if you agree with Stephen Hawking)

I mean, a legal procedural instead of the current cop procedural about the aforementioned fellow wouldn't exactly be any worse. I had high hopes for the TV show, but it turned out to be more Young and the Restless, and less about the second most powerful being in the DC universe.
