his poll numbers are between 35% - 39% with the higher numbers being given to him to the right wing outlets. Was listening to NPR yesterday, they said the coverage of all presidents has been 60% negative at least except for Obama, Obama was 40% negative for some reason, well for the first 4 months or so then they tore into Obama too. News is mostly negative if you think about it.

Yeah, I think they're a little harder on Trump than past presidents but not all that much.

Answer is rather easy though.

Obama was mostly controversial free, you may have disagreed with some things but that's realistic.

Both Bushes.....well don't need to mention to much about them since both are unpopular
Clinton....8 years of a witch-hunt by republicans will get you great negative press
Saint Reagen...their was that Iran weapons sale, that didn't really help

Obama' term was kind of relatively calm in comparison, hell wouldn't be surprised if H Clinton got more negative press during Obama's term then Obama himself.
