Which class is most consistently strong on the DPS charts?

Definitely not mage, they probably have the largest variance of DPS in the game.

Actually no idea, really. But having been Fury for ages I don't recall any point where we were that low in comparison to everyone. That or a lot of people I've played with weren't pulling their weight these last many years. :P

But I'm sure someone's gonna say otherwise. Someone who knows their numbers. :P

Mage, Rogue, Warlocks, sometimes Hunter. Basically any pure(all specs are damage) dps class.

lol that's not what this is. I've been playing the game for 10 years I understand all the classes inside and out, don't need the communities help. I'm merely gathering opinions on my question...

If that was true, you would know already which classes have consistently been strong on the dps charts. Which is none of them. Things change so many times during an expansion that all classes at some point have been top, bottom and middle of the pack. No single class or spec has stayed in the top from launch to now.

Hunter's fair, although I imagine many are pushing them out due to early 7.0 performance along with a couple other tiers. Mage's have had 2... tiers in the past 5 expansions without a top 5 spec? And I think rogues are sneakily getting away with being even stronger.

I'm going to give a shout out to warriors, as pretty much the only hybrid to grace the top 5 as much as the pures do.

Honestly, I don't play one but warrior always struck me as a very reliable dps. I can't think of a time where warriors were bad for long. Perhaps not top top dps but they've always been good, and sometimes I prefer that reliability over being top dps at risk of nerfs
