If it was me I would let her provided she were discreet about it if we had kids and they at least became adults. If I married and she wouldn't, I don't to honor the marriage but before we got married she said no if that happened it be something I'd consider and maybe not get married.

I'd probably become a pretty dedicated neurosurgeon, but I don't think I'd be interested in surrogates in the mean time. My wife does get pretty insecure about things though, so it may make sense to have a surrogate so she knows what's going on rather than being a victim of her imagination.

I don't know, I think it is one of those scenarios where you are sure how you are gonna react until you are in the situation in which case you very well could be acting radically different than what you hypothesize.

I guess maybe I would if we both were in agreement.. Its really tough to answer, maybe I would fail alltogether at being an adequate spouse and leave to find someone who isn't in need of around the clock care or maybe I would go as far as to perform a mercy killing to put and end to her diminished existence.. Eh. The question kind of assumes that me, the husband, would never want to have sex with my wife if she became paralyzed so we have to find a 3rd person to do it.

I have no idea if I would still be attracted to her, if that became an issue I don't know what I'd do, but if I still loved her and was attracted to her I'd rather have sex with her myself than find someone else to do it.
