The SDF have been fighting and reclaiming territory from ISIS with the assistance of the U.S. led international coalition for the past two years. According to the SDF and U.S. led coalition, this little clash began because pro-Assad forces have been attacking the SDF around the villages outside of Raqqa. The air attack in question was obviously not directed at ISIS targets according to the map you linked me. I'm not sure how this information contradicts my earlier post. You started off with "that's not how it happened," but your link suggests that it actually did go down how the SDF claimed it did.

Is ele getting anymore buffs? I mean 3% increase in damage is okay, but what about our T20 bonuses? They're probably the shittiest of all the classes.

That's nothing compared to how many afgan civilians they kill. But sure it does happend here and there and yeah all they can pull of are insider attacks like that so they are no threat to the us.

The clashes are happening at/around rasafa which has now been captured by SAA (from ISIS).
The US statement says it started when SDF got hit in J'din, but the SDF never held J'din. the SAA had it. So for there to be a conflict it would be the SDF pushing south to contest rasafa, so defensive isn't exactly what I'd call it.
They kill more US-allied afghan forces, sure.
And once US leaves they'll take over country again.
Only there is no way for US to win there, surge or no surge. But sure it does happend here and there and yeah all they can pull of are insider attacks like that so they are no threat to the us.

At best they can "not lose" for a while. Though even that isn't certain really if Taliban agents can be literally anywhere and have insider knowledge.

The map you linked claims the SDF lost Ja'din and then regained in the last 10 hours. There are also skirmishes south of Al-Thawrah, which is under SDF control.

ISIS doesn't control any of the villages south of Al-Thawrah do they?

No Jdin was ISIS controlled then the SAA take it which means they win the race to rasafa . Go back a few days and you'll see that the SAA have zerg rushed it to cut off the SDF so that the SAA doesn't lose the east.
