Glaives of Azzinoth

In my mind, if my DH obtained the War Glaives of Azzinoth, he would return them to Illidan. They are his, after all, so why would I keep them?

Besides, I already have my own, with their own cool stories, and a skin that matches my transmog better.

I've got the glaives on my rogue alt. I'm kind of groaning about having to gear it and get into a pug timewalk raid.

Not a chance. Outdated low-res model and hideous clipping issues. Sure they were cool in TBC but not in 2017.

DH's can get an item from black temple timewalking that allows them to transmog the glaives if they have the achievement for getting them.

I did the achievement a few years earlier on my rogue with 2 glaives is this enough to transmog them after i get this item from the timewalking stuff?

I will be transmogging to them. I have a feeling not as many DH's have both glaives on their DH or an alt, so it might not be as common as many people think. I could be wrong though of course!

Not yet anyway, but I expect it will hugely increase the number seeking them.
Especially on those with various spellings of illidan.

Both on one character, the set.
And them able to be equipped I expect.
Does not need to be your DH.

Check the achievement - it used to be for having both on one character. Unless they've changed things, I expect it still is.

They look cool, but it's not something worth me having to run BT like 50+ times for. I still like their challenge weapons look a lot more.

You need the ACHIEVEMENT for having both. So if you don't have that achievement, then you don't get them.

Your rogue doesn't need to be the one to kill TW Illidan. If you scroll up 4 post above, you'll see me link to the Warcraftdev's tweet about how as long as you have the Glaives FoS, any toon on the account can get the kill, and unlock the appearance for your DHs.

While the challenge mode skin for Vengeance is alright, I prefer warglaives.

Yup I def will. Not going to limit myself from good looking weapons just because everyone else uses them. If that was the case I'd just mog crappy vanilla greens or something.

I'm pretty sure the flame glaives are more common then the azzinoth ones will be. Especially after ToS comes out.

...and the source being? I have glaives on four characters..but only ever one part- Half of them cannot even use it. So you say 90% of people who play a DH had them drop both? (even if it is on an alt?)

Just a vague way of saying "I think a lot of people will use it so I won't look unique". I mean even the poll has an option "No. Everyone will be using them." which should be a dead give away at this.
