Nah, most of the states have banned fracking, trying to appease the inner city chardonnay socialist class. We'd be producing a hell of a lot more gas if it was allowed. Its also the reason why we dig up barely any of our massive uranium reserves and are very strict about who we sell it to.

And not all of Australia is hot. Tassie (the part that is usually forgotten) is much more similar to England in climate. But jobs wise it has very little going for it.

The deadly animals list is way overstated too. I mean its been days since I last heard of an attack by a shark or other wild animal.
