Nobody is forced to donate anything and they shouldn't be.
Taxes pay for all kinds of things, donations are just a bit of extra funds because some people agree with the stand these charities show.

Accepting refugees from tragically war torn parts of the world is the morally right thing to do in my opinion. It is of utmost importance that we integrate them into our cultures as best we can. This is also a separate case than immigration
