At least the first Wing should have dropped this week. Like it or not, it is some people's raiding and it is something some people actually enjoy doing.

I would be fine with wing 1 dropping with NM and each wing opening one week after that. So for a 4 wing raid it takes a month to fully open.

But gating for 2 months there is no reason for it.

I find LFR quite relaxing and I enjoy just killing the bosses(Grinding out tmog/loot is a nice bonus). I chose to not do progression guilds for many reasons.

You can interact with players in LFR just fine, just type and say hi.

Yeah but there's a world of difference in saying hi to some dude you won't see again and maybe have a fun quip every now and then, compared to playing with the same group of people for months/years. I'm not saying it's easy to find a fun group to play with, but it's worth it.

Because LFR drops tier and trinkets and forcing actual raiders to farm it alongside Normal and Heroic while progressing into Mythic is pretty bullshit. Also to milk you guys of your wallets. You want easymode? You gotta wait.

TBH I'm not sure why you want it so bad. Once it's out and you clear it, what's left? You'll clear it instantly and demand more content immediately. Is it actually stimulating to you at all to know you can literally AFK and clear the place?

LFR is not there to get gear, its there for ppl to see content, if you care about gear, go put it?

^. LFR was never meant to be ran repeatedly other than to replace a (really) unlucky slot for normal+ raiders or to get tier/trinkets you simply cannot get from your guild/pug runs. It wasn't meant as actual content that players should be constantly doing.

Of course there's a reason for it. They don't want people who only raid LFR to "beat" the raid in the first month of the patch and then disappear until 7.3.5. Instead, they stagger the release and suddenly those people stayed subbed for 2 more months.

A few weeks is one thing, Gating for 2 months is another. I would be fine if it was a month (one wing per week). But 2 months is a dam joke.
