Atheists spread atheism because... logic? Makes no sense to me.

Atheists spread skepticism because religion is a cesspool of toxic thinking that makes an individual prone to all sorts of bad beliefs, including ones with regards to science, politics, morals and everyday life.

I've never understood the almost militant need of some people to spread atheism. Christians try to convert because they believe they are helping people achieve a spiritual immortality. The same goes for most other religions.

You got it backward, atheist fight for the right to actually exist. persecution, discrimination, distrust, you can't even begin to understand.
Religions, all of them, are the most pervasive, invasive ideology of society.

Religious group want control of government, make law that follow their scripture. In some country atheism is a crime, 50 years in prison or death.
Atheist don't want to impose anything at all. They have no belief, they have no law but the law of the country they're in. Atheism is the most neutral position you can find. Atheism is not anti theism, that's 2 different things.

Atheism is as much an extreme as religion.

Too often i find coincidence thats just too much,oftentimes quite humorous things that betray a farcical comical twist of some sorts .. not something to walk around in bath towels for.. but maayybe (que creepy x-files tune) ther could be something out there!

I don't play soccer. Yet I can only say this because soccer exists, why and how would I else mention it? I say its complete nonsense to declare yourself as atheist because as soon as you do, you are bound by not believing something which then again means without those who do your identity would be void.

atheim is the absence of belief in such deity

It has nothing to do with existence, with knowledge or truth, just belief.

In other word, as an atheist, i am unconvinced that the concept of a supernatural being, god, spirit, ghost is real, i don't believe in it. Now there are many thing i never saw yet i still believe exists, because of a chain of observation, evidence and reasoning that make sense to me. Atoms are one of those things. No one as ever seens an atoms, but i believe in the Einstein's orbital model of the atom, because it makes sense and it was useful to predict experimental results.

Again, theism and atheism are concept that deal with belief, not reality.

i don't think you understand the meaning of the word. theist is atheist is a matter of belief, not existence, not knowledge of existence. is there a god, you don't know, i don't know, nobody knows. Theism is a matter of belief, it seems that you do, and i don't, simple.

my opinion of course, but i think it's either political correctness, or a will to avoid any legal complication. Understand that youtube is owned by google, an american company. The atheism subject still is a delicate, touchy subject in america.
I just think google don't want to lose potential revenu and ban such words.

You have the right to think TJ is stupid. I'd be honest and say i found many youtubers to be completely moronic, and that's not the worst. The worst are the one that are flat out lying and take advantage of their audience to swindle money coughanitasarkesiancough.

Although the freedom of speech does not apply to private website like youtube, i still think TJ is within its right to express his view on religions, feminism or politics. Meaning, youtube can censor him, but i can't be fine charged or imprisoned for his speech.

The argument is group think and you're correct on definitions but I can tell you just as many misguided people through ignorance don't need an excuse to act without thinking.

Definition is important for clarity but similarities do exist in groups of conflict at times.

If Google could find a way to allow child porn they would if it made more money. Not because they believe think it's right or wrong it's about their bottom line.

YouTubes censorship is just like Fox. Sponsorship and dollars. Corporations want to make money period so both will act in conditions of that. Sure politics come into it but if you think Fox cares about people really or Google. Then rethink that doesn't make them bad. But they are entities of business.

Nutrient are mostly absorbed in the small intestine, the large intestine mostly dehydrates the faecal matter, so it's in a more solid form when it goes through the anus.

From the anus, you can only reach the big intestine, so not a lot of nutrient absorption there.

Man that's a blast from the past, I haven't watched his videos in quite a few years now. He was sort of entertaining back during the Atheist vs Creationist days of YouTube, but I didn't feel he had much to offer beyond that.

which isn't true, because other youtubers have filled the void. Channel like cosmic skeptic, professor stick, holy koolaid... on the same topic, with some success. So it feels that the topic was still hot and things needed to be said.

Perhaps a different approach or a different style was needed.
