This has been what i've been thinking for awhile. Like how Gul'dan went into the portal so it was a continuation of the story into the new Expansion. Which I think would be a pretty sweet way to intro into next expac.

Argus has been bathed in felfire for 25.000 years.
This isn't like Outland, where corruptions and the planets explosion have tainted some lands and animals in different ways. This is a planet that'll offer a landscape like Outland's Shadowmoon Valley in 99% of places, and a magnificent Eredar civilization in the other part. And that's pretty much the best we can hope for. A zone along the lines of Suramar, except everything outside the shielded city is a wasteland.
This isn't a world we can have fun exploring. This isn't a world we can save. Look at it. Part of it has completely collapsed already. Fel is how the Legion kills worlds, and it has 25.000 years to burn away every scrap of life and energy. It's clear our destination is the capitol, Mac'Aree, so we're going to be taking the main attraction, right off the bat. Taking away the final note of interest on this world?
What's left for an expansion on Argus after that? What would even the reason be to waste our lives trying to somehow cleanse it? Do you really think it's there in the sky, to stay?
We are ending 7.3 by blowing up Argus. The patch is to wrap up the story of the Burning Legion for now. They will not be the enemy next expansion.
